Captain Eric Eastridge will take you out on our MasterCraft NXT20 for exciting Lake James boat trips from Bear Creek Marina. He is an experienced waterski coach, welcoming all experience levels for wakeboard lessons and more. Choose from slalom or double waterskis, wakeboarding, wake surfing, tubing, or simply enjoy a leisurely booze cruise around the lake. We offer customizable fun for everyone, with ballasts to create a big wave or to flatten it out. Also, don’t miss our 3 day youth clinic with camping in August.

Our USA Water Ski & Wake Sports certified instructors will help your child learn to waterski, wakeboard, wake surf, and SUP. No prior experience necessary. With a cap at 12 students, there will be plenty of time for patient instruction. Our primitive boat in access only campground will be fun for 2 nights of cooking on the fire, sunset cruises, and campfire songs, Classic Summer Fun. Last day of camp has time slots for parents to come cruise the lake and watch their kids show off. Jealous and want to get a turn wake surfing or skiing also? Catawba river in Marion (May-Oct)

This scenic section of the Catawba River is close to Marion but feels very secluded. It is about a 2 hour float on our comfortable inflatable kayak tube cross over boats where you move at a relaxed pace but have a paddle to steer. Our shuttle will meet you at the take out where you leave your car and go to tubing start point. Contact us for this trip as we do not run it every day.
