Captain Eric Eastridge will take you out on our MasterCraft NXT20 for exciting Lake James boat trips from Bear Creek Marina. He is an experienced waterski coach, welcoming all experience levels for wakeboard lessons and more. Choose from slalom or double waterskis, wakeboarding, wake surfing, tubing, or simply enjoy a leisurely booze cruise around the lake. We offer customizable fun for everyone, with ballasts to create a big wave or to flatten it out. Also, don’t miss our youth day camp and overnight camp, perfect for a summer adventure camp experience on the lake.

Our Overnight Camp on Lake James is for ages 9-14 and will give them the ultimate summer lake adventure camp experience. Days spent with wakeboard, waterski and wake surf lessons. Kayaking and paddle boarding on the lake, tubing behind the boar. Nights of campfires, Accoustic music, new friends. Some nights spent at the Lakehouse and some camping on a boat in only island. With only 12 students per session they have time for focused learning and safety. No prior experience necessary.

Our USA Water Ski & Wake Sports certified instructors will help your kid learn to waterski, wakeboard, wake surf, kayak, and SUP. We also offer tubing, jump rock, and games for epic summer adventure camp experiences. Enjoy Lake James boat trips during our youth day camp, with bus pickup options in Black Mountain, Marion, and Lake James. With a maximum of 12 students, we ensure focused skill building and fun during wakeboard lessons and other activities.

This scenic section of the Catawba River is close to Marion but feels very secluded. It is about a 2 hour float on our comfortable inflatable kayak tube cross over boats where you move at a relaxed pace but have a paddle to steer. Our shuttle will meet you at the take out where you leave your car and go to tubing start point. Contact us for this trip as we do not run it every day.
