This trip is a summer favorite for friends, birthdays, bachelor / bachelorette parties or a fun date. The French Broad is wide and easy for kayaks and SUPs. It cuts right through the River Arts District, and we stop at a couple really fun breweries along the way.

Family friendly easy section of the French Broad, which runs through the river arts district in Asheville and ends at a nice park with picnic area. This trip is self guided, we run shuttle and you enjoy the float at your own pace. It usually takes about 2 hours. These are cross-over boats between a kayak and a tube, so you can steer and have a bottom on the boat, but are still sitting in the water some.
